LEARNING OBJECTIVE:
The objective of this course is to provide the student with the theory, concepts, principles and tactics for the safe resolution of active shooter type incidents.
CONTENT:
- Historical and contemporary active shooter type incidents are examined and discussed.
- The "tactical combat fighting mindset" is examined and discussed.
- The definition, theory, principles and considerations of "Immediate Action - Rapid Deployment to Active Shooters" are examined and discussed.

Law enforcement management, philosophy, theory and politics, relative to high risk police incidents, are examined and discussed.

Tactics, concepts and principles for formations, movement, clearing and contact are provided, examined and discussed.
COURSE REQUIREMENTS:
The student is required to successfully complete course work, research project, and final assessment for certification by the USTRMC.
LENGTH OF COURSE:
The course is sixteen (16) hours.

The cost of this course is $100.00 (one hundred dollars).
